Five years ago, a chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. was formed in Dallas County.

The Gamma Alpha Alpha Zeta chapter of Zeta Phi Beta has made an impact in the Selma and Dallas County area since 2017.

Earlier this month, the Dallas County Zetas finished second for service programming among chapters at the 2022 Zeta Phi Beta South Central Regional Leadership Conference in Jackson, Mississippi.

Over the years, we’ve seen Dallas County chapters of other Greek Organizations: Alpha Phi Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, Omega Psi Phi, Alpha Kappa Alpha, Kappa Alpha Psi grab headlines with their charitable donations in the area.

We applaud and appreciate each and every one of those Greek organizations for what they do in the community.

We’re pleased that the Dallas County Zetas are now added to that mix.  There’s room for Phi Beta Sigma and Sigma Gamma Rho as well.

Selma and Dallas County need all the help they can get.
