Michael Tyrone Rawls, 63 of Selma, Alabama went  into the arms of the Lord on Sunday May 22, 2022 at home.  Family hour – Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. at Mount Ararat Missionary Baptist Church 120 Division Street, Selma, AL 36703.

Services will be held Sunday, May 29, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Selma University Gym, 1501 Boynton Street, Selma, AL 36701 with Dr. Craig B. Scott Officiating. Burial in the Serenity Cemetery directed by Randall Miller Funeral Services – Selma,.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his wife Georgia M. Smith-Rawls of 30 years and 13 days.  Two sons Brandon (Shalanda) Culpepper and Terrance Rawls and precious grandchildren Jazmine and Jamarcus Culpepper.

Sisters and brothers whom he loved deeply Brenda Ingram – Montgomery, Alabama, John (Margaret) Rawls – Selma, Alabama, Billie Rawls and Carolyn Rawls – Montgomery, Alabama and Debora Rawls Atlanta, Georgia. 

Sisters and Brother in laws- Richard Smith – Isiarh (Gloria) Smith – Plainfield, NJ, Bernice Smith, Lillie Binion, Ora Marie (Eddie) Fernanders, Eliza (Essex) Taylor, Martha Smith – Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Charlie (Shelia) Folks -Cottondale, Alabama,  A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and a shew of many friends.
