Stillman College is sponsoring a car at the Atlanta Motor Speedway this weekend.

The No. 44 Stillman College themed Chevrolet Camaro will be driven by Greg Biffle of NY Racing Team at the Folds of Honor QuickTrip 500 in Hampton, Georgia.

Qualifying for the race is Saturday. Sunday’s race will start at 2 p.m. and televised on FOX, PRN and Sirius XM NASCAR Radio.

The NY Racing Team is owned by John Cohen, a marketing partner of Urban Edge Network, Inc. and HBCU League Pass Plus, a digital streaming platform for HBCU sports and student life events.

Stillman College President Dr. Cynthia Warrick said NASCAR is providing a great opportunity for sponsorship.

“Stillman College is excited that NASCAR is partnering with HBCUs, to support diversity efforts in their racing cup series,” Warrick said.

“Having a Stillman-branded car in the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 signals a major effort for NASCAR, and we are honored to be a part of this initiative. Plus, our car looks really cool.”

Stillman College is finalizing a multi-year content streaming partnership with Urban Edge Network, Inc.-HBCU League Pass Plus, which will provide live-streams of Stillman Athletics events, archived game footage, choir and band, and virtual campus tours.
