Snow’s Cleaning Service, Premeir Tax Consultants serve Thanksgiving meals to homeless

Snow’s Cleaning Service LLC and Premeir Tax Consultants held a Thanksgiving meal for the homeless on Wednesday at the Good Samaritan Hospital.

Plates of chicken, ham, blackeyed peas, collared greens, assorted cakes were given out.

Snow’s Cleaning Service owner LeMarkus A. Snow said he’s always honored to serve the community.

“I’ve been blessed and I wanted to give back,” Snow said. “Giving back to the community is great.”

Snow credited other organizations and individuals for making the Thanksgiving meal a success.

Gospel Tabernacle Church Pastor John E. Grayson provided cakes. Donte Allen of Allen Construction donated gloves and socks. Selenia Powell-Oliver, Ardie Brown  and Jay Armstead provided blankets, coats and ice. LIFT Ministries also donated.

Pastor Chris Minter was among the volunteers who helped serve the food. Minter said he was glad to help his friend Snow.

Allen also said he was glad to assist Snow.

“Coming from where I’m from it feels good to be able to help someone or be able to give back to the community,” Allen said. “I was honored to work hand in hand with Snows Cleaning service.”
