Tom Tompkins, 72, resident of Selma, , passed away November 6, 2021 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 1 p.m. at the House of Prayer officiated by David Perry. Burial to follow in Mt. Olive #2 Cemetery, Sardis, AL directed by Randall Miller Funeral Service Inc., Selma. He was preceded in death by parents, William and Pearlie Mae Tompkins. Survivors include: spouse, Mildred K. Tompkins; two sons, Marvin (Dartanya) King, Darrell King; one daughter, Meosha (Irving Sr.) Smith; two brothers, Pet (JoAnn) Tompkins, Melvin Tompkins; four sisters, Mary Lou James, Tarser White Slay; Bessie (Tommie) Hunter, Rosemary Dudley; fourteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, twenty-five nieces, twenty nephews; Albert (Camilla) Jackson, Mack Arthur (Eloise) Jackson, Sarah S. (Fredrick) Thomas.
