Carolyn Luker was a caring mother, grandmother, friend, and lover of all things feline. She left this world on July 2, 2021 at age 72 after a long battle with cancer.

She was born to Forbes and Margaret Hascall on February 8, 1949. She led an adventurous life that took her from her home in Birmingham MI to New Mexico, California, and eventually Alabama. While researching a novel she met William Luker and they were married in 1980 in Monroe Co, AL. Together, they raised Carolyn’s son John and settled in Tilden, AL. Carolyn remained at the family farm until her condition no longer allowed it.

Carolyn loved her cats and grandchildren and despite her illness she loved to travel and keep up with her daily activities. She loved her farm and spending time in the countryside walking and exploring the woods around her farm. She is survived by her son John and his wife Coco and their children Sophia and Hannah.

There will be an online celebration of life created by her son for her in the coming months.
