“The defense stepped up and played well,” Saints coach Willie Gandy said. “We ran the ball tonight and Tristan Wall had his best game at quarterback for us.”

Walker scored three touchdowns and three two-point conversions for the Saints.

“Dylan just gets the job done for us, whether we need a quarterback sack or to run the football,” Gandy said.

While the senior football players, band members and cheerleaders were honored, an underclassman stole the show for the Saints.

Defensive back/wide receiver DaKaari Nelson scored two touchdowns, including a 80-yard interception return. He added a 13-yard TD catch and finished with two interceptions.
