Southside stayed in the Region championship with a 42-12 rout over Monroe County on Friday night.

Ernie Campbell and KeAndre Williams each scored two touchdowns for the Panthers (6-1, 4-1). Mariyon Johnson and Derick Smith each had receiving touchdowns.

Dallas County 33, Holt 0: Quarterback Michael Harris scored two touchdowns as the Hornets  spoiled Holt’s homecoming at Woody Clements Stadium in Tuscaloosa.

Markeice Stallworth, Marquavious Pullom and Tavious Hohenberger also scored touchdowns for the Hornets (3-4, 3-2 Region 5, 4A).

Snook Christian 24, Meadowview Christian 14: The Trojans (0-7) remained winless on the season.

Christian Baggett and Allan Holt each scored touchdowns for  MCS.

Keith High (6-1) has already clinched a Region championship and won’t play until October 22.
