Morgan Academy coach Danny Raines expects a tough contest against Patrician Academy.

“Patrician Academy has a very good football team,” Raines said. “We are looking forward to a good week of practice and getting ready to play.”

Selma High at Woodlawn: The Saints (1-4) seek to end a two-game winning streak in a second straight non-Region contest.

Selma High lost at Jackson last week, which Dylan Walker scored the Saints’ only touchdown.

“A well coached team, very athletic and can run,” Saints coach Willie Gandy said. “We need a win Friday night to get us rolling right before our region game with Jemison next week.”

Southern Academy at Meadowview Christian School: The Trojans (0-5) host Southern Academy at Wadsen Field for homecoming.

Allan Holt scored the only touchdown last week.

MCS head coach Shawn Sellers expects a tough contest. “They are a well coached physical football team, it’s homecoming week for so there is a lot of excitement,” Sellers said.

Dallas County (1-3) has an open date before hosting Sumter Central on Oct. 1 at Martin Field.
