Mr. Sylvester Givan, 77, resident of Selma, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center.

Graveside services are scheduled for Tuesday, August 31, 2021, 11 a.m. in Pineview Memory Gardens, Valley Grande, AL officiated by Rev. Carl Green and directed by Randall Miller Funeral Service, Inc., Selma.

Survivors include: daughter, Rosalyn Reeves; brothers, John Wesley (Vernell) Givan, Cleophus (Jean) Givhan, Eddie Givan, Johnny L (Linda) Givan, Jerome (Joann) Givan, Kenneth Givan; sisters, Mattie Stevenson, Adeline Grant, Mary Louise Smith, Carolyn Shell, Shirley (James) Scott, Ernestine (Leon) Bryant, Christine Sparks; special cousin, Leo Smith; five grandchildren, one great grandchild; host of nieces, great nieces, nephews and cousins.
