A Selma man was killed in a shooting last weekend in Troy. Another Selma man was injured in the same shooting.

According to the City of Troy Police Department,  two men from Selma were shot Saturday. One of the men died of his injuries.

Around 11:55 p.m. Saturday night, Troy police responded to the 100 Block of West Fairview Street about an incident.

Ryan Gerrod Snell, 22, a Selma resident was found by police and later died at Troy Regional Medical Center.

The other  victim, Henry William Hicks, 22, also of Selma, was treated and later released from the hospital.

No other details were released and the shooting incident remains under investigation by the Troy Police Department.
