The Selma Police Department found the body of a dead man Friday morning.

According to Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson, Shaquille Shamburger was killed Wednesday by his roommate Corey Rabb.

Jackson said that Shamburger was killed Wednesday and his body was dumped in a closet with garbage bags on top of him. Jackson also said that Shamburger had been reported missing.  Officers found his body in a closet.

Jackson said that Rabb was arrested Friday and later confessed to the murder. He was charged with murder and will be arraigned in the Dallas County Courthouse on Monday.

“This case has a lot of strange twists and turns,” Jackson said. “The end result is tragic.”

This is the 13th murder in Selma this year, including two this week.
