James Marcus Moore Jr., 63, resident of Selma, passed away July 3 in Montgomery. Funeral services are scheduled for July 10 at 11 a.m. at Summerfield Community Cemetery in Valley Grande,  officiated by Pastor Erwin Patrick Moore, directed by Randall Miller Funeral Service, Inc., Selma. His parents, James Marcus Moore Sr. and Lillie Bell Y. Smith are deceased. He is survived by three sons: Derrick Ja’Von (Artesia) Moore, Marcus Ja’Var (Achandra) Moore, all of Montgomery, daughter Kanesha Emily Tabb, two brothers James Marcus Moore III of Lakeland, Florida and Timothy Smith of Austell, Georgia, five sisters, Cynthia Smith of Mobile, Carolyn M. Robinson of Selma, Lillian M. (Charles) Mitchell of Stockbridge, Georgia, Vickie Williams and Sandra W. (Delroy) of Long Beach, California, six grand children, three nieces and five nephews.
