A pair of Selma and Dallas County baseball teams won 9-10-year-old championships.

The Children’s Dentistry of Central Alabama won all 14 games to capture the league championship for Dallas County.

The Dallas County squad won the district championship in Clanton. Next weekend, they will play in the state tournament held at Greenville.

James Roberts was the head coach for both teams.

Pope Roberts, Jase Wilkinson, Ryder Hughey, Foster Jones, Clayton King,Cole Frith, Lane Osborn, Holden Osborn, Hayes Moore, Landon Rives,Goodwin Alsobrook, Antonio Surles and Emmitt Pitts are the Children’s Denistry of Central Alabama players.

Tres Wilkinson, Richard Hughey and James Osborn are the assistant coaches.

The Dallas County All-Star players are: Aiden Wright, Pope Roberts, Jordan Tyus, Jake Wilkinson, Kennedy Perryman, Nelson Smith, Hayes Moore, Drew Minor, Clayton King, Jacob Solomon, Foster Jones and Cole Frith.

Tres Wilkinson and John Solomon are the assistant coaches.

Roberts said that the Children’s Dentistry of Central Alabama never had a game closer than seven runs en-route to an unbeaten season.
