Jerome Safford, 73, resident of Selma, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021 in Selma.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, May 29, 2021, 1 p.m.. at Good Hope Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. John Ward. Burial to follow in Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Ashley’s J.H. Williams & Son’s Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by parents; Prince Safford; Mrs. Pearlie (Evans) Safford; stepmother,Mrs. Rosetta Jones Safford; sisters, Carrie Pearl Catherine, Daisybelle, Seaybelle, Sadie, Bessie, Mary Eliza; brothers, Israel, David, Henry, George; a host of step-sisters and step-brothers; sons, Jerome Bowie, Ahmaad Bowie, Eddie Craig; daughters, Jenesis Safford, Kelechi Bowie; brothers, Houston Safford; sisters, Ethel Wilson, Esther Moore and twin sister, Geraldine Safford; three grandchildren and one brother in-law.
