Dallas County Judge finds probable cause in fatal shooting

A Dallas County Circuit Court judge found probable cause in a fatal shooting last week.

According to Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson, Dallas County Circuit Court Judge Collins Pettaway Jr. found probable cause in charging David Cole for capital murder after a preliminary hearing.

Cole is a suspect in the fatal shooting of Amari Bonner, 17, who was shot in the lower back and died at Vaughan Regional Medical Center on April 13.

Selma Police Chief Kenta Fulford and Jackson said that Cole shot into a car with a group of minors inside near Snack Food Mart.

Jackson said that Cole, 16, remains in the Dallas County Jail under no bond.
