Emma Jane Holmes, 89, resident of Selma, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Vaughan Medical Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, May 20, 2021, 11 a.m.. at Ashley’s J.H. Williams Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Herbert Allen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sanders and Emma J. Mitchell Holmes; son, Ronald Holmes. Survivors include: son, Bruce (Linda) Holmes, Sr. (Montgomery); Ronnie F. Holmes (Cincinnatti,); granchildren, Jermaine (Jessica) Turner (Chicago), Bruce (Shinese) Holmes, Jr. (Birmingham), Brittany Thornton (Selma), Jazzmyne Holmes (Miami), Brian Morrisett (Selma), Breanna and Jai Holmes, David Nelson, III (Montgomery) Michael Nelson (Georgia); sisters, Dorothy Holmes, (Atlanta); great grandchildren, Mariah, Avery, Ava and Sage.
