For the second time in three days, the Selma Police Department is investigating a murder.

Donnie Streeter, 38, was murdered on Monday, according to Selma Police Chief Kenta Fulford and Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson.

Fulford said Selma Police Department responded to a call around 9 p.m. Monday night in reference to a gunshot victim laying on the road near the intersection of Philpot Avenue and Mabry Street.

Fulford said the victim was transported to Vaughan Regional Medical Center. He died in the VRMC Emergency room.  The victim was already unconscious and never regained consciousness

Fulford said there are no suspects at this time. The murder incident remains under investigation by the SPD.
