Gospel Tabernacle and Sonlight Outreach Center gave away 400 boxes to Vaughan Regional Medical Center employees on Tuesday.
Countless vehicles lined up in the parking lot behind the hospital to receive a box that contained frozen chicken, vegetable, fruits and milk. The truck was loaded up at Bloch Park before arriving to VRMC.
Gospel Tabernacle Pastor John E. Grayson said it was a way of thanking the hospital for taking care of the Selma and Dallas County communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“It’s our way to show appreciation to the medical staff for their service to the community during the pandemic,” Grayson said.
