Gospel Tabernacle, Son Light Center hold food giveaway at Bloch Park

Two Dallas County residents assisted Gospel Tabernacle Church and Son Light Food Center with a food drive on Wednesday morning at Bloch Park.

Dallas County Probate Judge Jimmy Nunn and LeMarkus A. Snow of Snow’s Cleaning Service helped Gospel Tabernacle Pastor John E. Grayson hand out over 1,000 food boxes to local residents.

Pastor Grayson said it’s all about helping the community heal during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Grayson’s wife, Dr. CeCe Grayson said the church loves to spread the love of God in Dallas County and beyond.

“It’s all about giving back to the community,” Dr. Grayson said. “God has blessed us to help the community. We love serving the people.”

Snow said he enjoyed helping Gospel Tabernacle give out food.

“It was a pleasure to help Pastor Grayson and Judge Nunn pass out food boxes,” Snow said.

Grayson said over 2000 Food boxes were distributed to the following: Thomasville COGIC (which distribute to local churches and communities in Clarke County), Selma local churches, Uniontown, Marion, Dallas County HeadStart, Selmont Area, Maplesville, Orrville, Epworth Seniors House, Dallas County Community Leaders, Selma Housing Authority, Selma/Dallas County Community Groups.
