The School of Discovery Genesis Center awarded its honor roll students with a drive-through pizza giveaway on Thursday.

SOD honored its honor roll recipients of the second nine-week period. Principal Jason Munford, coaches George Bennett Jr. and Carletta Childs along with Jessica Spivey, Rodgrell Reeves, Chasity Green and Dexter Peeples were on hand to give away the pizzas.

Munford said the giveaway was all about rewarding the students for working hard in the classroom and represent the Selma City School System.
