Mrs. Martha F. Boutwell, the wife of Thomas Boutwell of Valley Grande, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at her home.

She was born in DeFuniak Springs, Florida on September 20, 1944 to the late Myrtha Ellis Stewart and the late Avie Frances Garrett Stewart. She was a realtor with Cornerstone Realty for over 30 years.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Boutwell; children, Stewart W. Boutwell and Thomas E. Boutwell; sisters, Margaret Sanders (Ben) and Mary Ann Shipman (David); 3 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Myrtha and Avie Stewart; and sister, Gladys Spikes.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 19, 2021 at 1 p.m. from the Chapel of Selma Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends of Mrs. Boutwell. Honorary pallbearers will be Jewell Williamson and Candice Lewis.

Final care and arrangements have been faithfully entrusted to the care of Selma Funeral Home.
