Two Uniontown men were arrested Thursday for multiple drug charges.

Kevin Ballard, 41, and Frederick Scott, 33, were both charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to Fourth Judicial District Attorney Michael Jackson, the Regional Task Force rounded up the two suspects during a routine traffic stop in Uniontown.

Jackson said the agents recovered meth and a loaded rifle in the vehicle.

“We are going to get these gunslingers out of Uniontown, Marion and Greensboro.” Jackson said. “There has been too much violent gang activity going on.”

Jackson presides over the Fourth Judicial District, which encompasses Dallas County, Perry County, Hale County, Bibb County and Wilcox County.
