Selma City Open Bass Tournament starts Saturday
The Selma City Landing Pride of the South Tournament Series is hosting a Selma City Open Bass Tournament on Saturday at the Selma City Marina.
Tournament Director Jeremy Bass said the fishing will start at 6 a.m., with the weigh-in scheduled at 3:30 p.m. Anglers can start registering at the landing at 4 a.m.
The tournament has an entry fee of $150 and that covers the Lunker pot. No membership is required to fish.
Anglers are allowed to compete as either a solo or team with maximum of two people in the boat. No fishing or casting are allowed within 800 feet of the dams and all Pride of the South rules apply. Anglers must observe rules and pass a polygraph.
The tournament offers a $25 side pot winner take all option.
