Free COVID-19 Testing Available Saturday at Selma University

Selma University is partnering with the American Medical Screen company to provide free COVID-19 testing on Saturday.
Selma University students, faculty, staff and the community can receive testing from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Gibbs Dining Facility on campus. Participants need only to complete registration forms on the University’s website, www.selmauniversity.edu or on sight.
“Our team have launched our testing protocol to help support the state of Alabama’s fight against COVID-19 within at-risk populations,” American Medical Screening co-founder Eric Boone said.
Boone said that coronavirus pandemic throughout Alabama communities that are most at risk. Boone also said that the testing program offers an opportunity for more at-risk communities to receive testing and monitoring; particularly those communities who are facing the pandemic from a deficit that is rooted in social determinants of health.
