Black Belt Wellness Center, several local organizations donate to homeless
Several Dallas County organizations partnered with the Black Belt Wellness Center for the “Hope for the Homeless” program Tuesday at the Good Samitarian Center.
LIFT Ministries, Selma AIR, Snow’s Cleaning Service, Aninoted Food Service, Premier Tax Service worked with the BBWC. LaTanglia Williams represented Lift Ministries, Roosevelt Johnson represented Anointed Food Services, Lemarkus Snow represented Snow’s Cleaning Services. Renarda White represented Premier Tax Consultants. The Family Resource Center donated blankets.
The organizations fed the homeless hot dogs, sandwiches, gave away hats, coats and blankets. Free HIV testing was also provided.
“It’s all about being unselfish and giving back during the holiday season,” Williams said. “It’s a blessing to do this. I’d like to thank everyone who donated to the event.”
Dallas County Commissioner Curtis Williams attended the event.
