Selma Furniss (Campbell) Godwin passed away December 4, 2020 at the age of 95. She was born July 17, 1925 to Arch and Bessie Campbell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Godwin. She is survived by her son, Eugene Godwin (Sarah Beaty); grandchildren, Michael Godwin, Jason Godwin, Elizabeth Godwin (Steve Soloman) and Alan Godwin (Emily Meier); great-grandson, Theodore Godwin; sister, Doris McCrackin and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at 1 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church Cemetery on County Road 222 with Rev. Ira Blanchard officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. The service will be live streamed on the funeral home’s Facebook page at http://watchlawrence.live . There will be no visitation.

Pallbearers will be Paul Smitherman, Roger Campbell, Sonny Campbell, Bo Campbell, Willis Scurlock and Scott Melton. Honorary pallbearers will be Eugene Garrison and Ed Morrow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Mount Pleasant Church Cemetery Fund; Care of Gene Garrison, 170 County Road 849, Plantersville, Alabama 36758.
