Morgan Academy announces volleyball awards

Morgan Academy honored its volleyball players at the Fall Sports ceremony last week.

Keenan Lee McHugh and Kaylee Grace Whitaker each earned three awards.

McHugh and Bailey Brown were named the offensive and defensive players of the year.

Whitaker also earned the team  captain and the Andy Hewitt Award.  McHugh was named most improved server.

Anna McCann Perkins earned two awards: best teammate and the Most Improved All-Around.

Sarah Thomas also earned two awards: Most Improved All-Around and Most Improved Setter.

Anna Drew Haugen earned the Most team spirit award.

Maryn Bergeron and Bonnie Woodson were named offensive and defensive player of the year, respectively.

Bonnie Woodson earned two awards: most improved all-around and best teammate.

Anna Drew Haugen earned the Most team spirit award.

Margaret McLaughlin was named Most Improved Setter.

Leanna Johnson was named most improved hitter.

Sarah Grace Holladay was was named most improved server.

On the junior varsity, Bonnie Woodson and Brooke Waters were named Most Improved All-Around players.

Molly Bohannon was named Most Improved Setter. MacKenzie King was named most improved hitter. Lily McHugh and Madelyn Stevens were named most improved passer.

Lydia Smitherman was named most improved setter.

Anna Grace Ingram received the team captain award. Mary Peyton Meeks earned Most team spirit.

Hadley Verhoff earned the Hustle Award. Emily Grace Mims earned the best attitude award.
