Keith nips Southside at buzzer to split in basketball
Tommy Tisdale III’s layup at the buzzer leads Keith High to a 59-57 victory over cross county rival Southside High on Friday in Orrville.
Southside hit two free throws with 4.6 seconds left in regulation to tie the game at 57-57.
DeCarlos Moore led the Bears with 20 points.
Southside girls 40, Keith 27: Shamaya Allison scored 10 points, Khaleah Shanks added nine and Caliyah Robinson with eight for the Lady Panthers.
Calhoun 85, Keith 75: Alabama signee J.D. Davison scored 48 points for Calhoun. Victor Milhouse Jr. scored a team-high 30 points for the Bears (1-2). Tommy Tisdale III added 24 and DeCarlos Moore finished with 18 points.
The Lady Bears also lost the girls game 47-31.
