American Pharmacy CO-OP presented a four-wheeler to Tim Williamson of Carter Drugs during its road show on Tuesday morning.

Carter Drugs was selected as a grand prize winner and received a CAN-AM Mossy Oak Edition 850 4-wheeler. They were chosen over 1,800 members out of 26 different states. Carter Drug participated in the APCI Fall Road Show to enhance their customer and patient offerings, and increase clinical services.

Carter Drugs owner Tim Williamson chose the 4-wheeler over a trip to Venice and a cash prize.

‘’I’m excited about winning the four-wheeler,’’ Williamson said. “I can’t wait to use it during deer hunting season.”

APCI CEO Tim Hamrick praised Williamson’s leadership and Carter Drugs value to the community.

“For almost 100 years Carter Drugs has served this community well, in fact Selma has some of the best locally owned pharmacies in the southeast,” Hamrick said. “We are excited for the folks at Carter Drugs to be the recipient of this year’s APCI Grand Prize of this Mossy Oak 4-wheeler. Good things happening all around and we are glad to be a part of that.’’

APCI usually makes its award presentation at an annual summer trade show, but cancelled the event because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
