The State Bureau of Investigation is investigating a murder that took place Saturday night at a nightclub in Uniontown.

According to Fourth Judicial District Attorney Michael Jackson, Yule Jones was killed at the Lewis Lounge. Jackson also said that a female was shot at the club, but he added that she’s expected to live.

Jackson said the club owner is charged with attempted murder of the female. Jackson said the owner and the female victim are related. Jackson did not reveal the identity of the female victim.

Jackson, who district presides over Dallas, Perry, Wilcox, Bibb and Hale Counties, said the SBI hasn’t arrested anyone in the homicide.
