Selma suspect arraigned on multiple drug charges

A Selma man was arraigned Thursday in the Dallas County Courthouse on multiple drug charges.
Kenyada Dukes, 33, was arraigned on three counts of possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, first-degree unlawful possession of marijuana and tampering with evidence, according to Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson.
Dallas County District Court Judge Bob Armstrong set Dukes’ bond at $80,000. Dukes remains locked in the Dallas County Jail because he has a federal hold on him, according to Jackson. Dukes has a previous charge.
The Dallas County Sheriff Office, ALEA, Drug Task Force and ATF Task Force all arrested Dukes on Wednesday.
Armstrong set Dukes’ preliminary hearing date for Oct. 6 at 1:30 p.m. in the Dallas County Courthouse.
