Richard Lanier Sr., 66, resident of Selma, passed away Friday, September 4, 2020 at UAB Hospital. Graveside services are scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2020, 11 a.m. at Figtree Living Word Church with Minister Harrell Lanier officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery directed by Randall Miller Funeral Service, Selma. Survivors include: spouse, Juanita Lanier; four sons, Larry Laniel, Richard Lanier Jr., Marcus Lanier, Kendrick; two daughters, Zanja Lanier, Zanell Washington; four brothers, Lonnie Lanier, Harrell Lanier, Cecil Lanier, Moses Lanier; six sisters, Mary Agee, Patricia Callen, Annie Callen, Dorothy Agee, Angrea Jones, Prevonna Lanier; 30 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews.
