On August 23, 2020, Sharon Ann Boumel Benn, loving wife and mother died after a long illness.  Sharon was born November 26, 1944 in Washington, D.C.  On December 27, 1964, she married Alvin Benn.  They lived all over the south but settled in Selma where they raised a daughter, Danielle and a son, Eric. 

She is survived by her husband Alvin, daughter Danielle Benn Waters and son Eric Benn, grandchildren Ben and Scott Waters, Alexandria and Ilan Benn, brothers Barry and Jerry.
