A Selma woman was arrested this week for multiple drug charges.
Samantha Cleckler, 31, was charged with five counts of possession of controlled substance and possession of controlled substance with intent to sell, according to Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson.
According to Jackson, Cleckler was stopped by the Dallas County Sheriff Office around 9:22 p.m. Sunday night for having no lights at County Road 27 on Highway 14. Once the DCSO pulled Cleckler over, officers discovered drugs in the vehicle.
Jackson said Dallas County District Court Judge Bob Armstrong recused himself from the case and Cleckler’s arraignment will be set at a future date. She remains locked in the Dallas County Jail under no bond.
Cleckler has a history of arrests in Dallas County dating back to 2012. The recent arrest came on March 10, as Cleckler was charged with two counts of failure to appear drug possession.
