Josephine Swift, 58, resident of Selma, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2020 in Dallas County (Selma). Graveside services are scheduled for Saturday, July 11, 2020, 1:00 p.m. at Lorenzo Harrison Memorial Gardens, with Brenda Tyus officiating. Burial to follow at Lorenzo Harrison Cemetery directed by Ashley’s J.H. Williams and Sons Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by mother, Mary L. Walker; father, Major Barnett; brother, Ronnie J. Walker; nephew, Quincy Dudley; aunt, Willie Mae Ellis. Survivors include: son, Ricardo D. Swift (Selma); daughters, Santana Swift; La’Nisa Swift (Selma,); brothers, Richard Swift, Jeff Walker, David Walker, Anthony Oliver, Tyrone Barnett, Tiarius Barnett; sisters, Glenda Swift, Mary Swift, Wanda Walker, Shirley Barnett, Shelia Miles, Sabrina Pettway; five grandchildren, 12 nieces and 12 nephews.
