A Bibb County woman was recently charged with theft and assistance fraud.

According to Fourth Judicial District Attorney Michael Jackson, Kimberly Baggett was arrested June 3 in Brent for charges of first-degree theft and public assistance fraud.

Jackson said Baggett stole hundreds of thousands of federal dollars from the Federal Government through her business, Krackerjax Daycare.

“Her hands are as slippery as an eel,” Jackson said.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, Brent Police Department, Fourth Judicial Circuit Task Force and other agencies are leading the investigation on Baggett.
