James Perry Hollis, 66, resident of Maplesville, passed away on May 20, 2020 in Maplesville. Graveside services are scheduled for Saturday, May 30, 2020, 10 a.m. at Hollis Cemetery with Rev. Carl Billingsley, Sr. officiating and directed by Ashley’s Lee & Rollins Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorine Hollis; mother, Christine Hollis; father, S.M. Hollis; four sisters, Lorene Steele, Virginia Moore, Ann Boyd, Joyce Dingle; two brothers, Ronald Hollis, Murray Hollis; two aunts, Ola Lee Johnson, Ola Mae White; cousins, Nathaniel Larkins and Wallace White, Jr.

Survivors include: sons, Christopher Smith, Ken Hollis; daughters, Twanda D. Brown-Black; brothers, S.M. Hollis, Reginald Hollis; sisters, Doris Hollis, Kathy Hollis, Dieann Hollis, Bessie Mae Mosley; eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren,one son in-law and two daughters in-law.
