Arzelia Reese Smiley  was born July 22, 1945 in Selma, Alabama to the late Mr. and Mrs. Slevin Reese. Her earthly  journey ended on April 19, 2020 at home with her family.

Arzelia was preceded in death by her mother and father, four brothers, two sisters and her daughter: Kassandra Smiley.

She leaves to mourn her loss, her loving and devoted husband of 54 years, Willie E. Smiley, Sr. and her son, Willie E. Smiley Jr; one granddaughter, Lindsey Smiley; two brothers, John Reese and Arthur (Dot) Reese, ; three sister-in-laws, Queen (Will) Jones, Pearl (Gable) Eugene, Arizona and Lorraine (Arthur) Killion, Maryland; 1 brother-in-law, Charlie Smiley from Illinois and a host of very devoted and loving nieces, nephews, family and many friends.

Graveside services are scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2020, 11 a.m. from Serenity Memorial Gardens with Rev. Steven Washington & Dr. McNair Ramsey officiating and directed by Randall Miller Funeral Service, Inc. Visitation all day Friday at Randall Miller Funeral Home and 9 a.m.-10:45 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church.
