A Plantersville man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday night in Bibb County.

Lance Eugene Jones, 45, was killed when the 2016 Mack 600 he was operating struck a 2019 Toyota Highlander driven by Patricia Ann Brown near Brent, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

Jones was pronounced dead at the scene. Brown, 62, of West Blocton, was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

The crash occurred on Alabama 5 near the 94-mile marker, approximately five miles north of Brent.
