Mr. Lewis Thompson Jr., resident of Selma,  passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. Services are scheduled for Monday, February 17, 2020, at noon  at Mount Ararat Baptist Church with Rev. C.B. Scott officiating.

Burial to follow at Lorenzo Harrison Memorial Garden directed by Randall Miller Funeral Service, Inc.

Survivors include: her parents, Vivian (Jerry) Thompson-Fails and Lewis (Shirley) Thompson Sr., two brothers, Sgt. 1st Class Roderick O. Thompson, Staff Sgt. Marquis L. Thompson; three sisters, Latonya Faye Thompson, Kerestene Meadows, Ashley D. Thompson, nine nieces, four nephews and host of other relatives and friends.
