Walker Track Club had busy holiday season

The Walker Track Club competed in three indoor events during the holiday season.

The team combined for eight first-place finishes at the Emerging Elite Pre Indoor Event in Oxford.

Malachi Walker finished first in 800-meter dash and high jump at the 17-18-year-old division. He was second in the 60-meter hurdles and 400-meter dash.

Rashni Walker was first in the girls 15-16-year-old division for 60-meter hurdles, 200-meter dash and 400 meter dash. She was second in the 60-meter dash.

Josiah Walker was second in the shot put of the 13-14-year-old division.

Asa Fortier was first in the shot put for the 7-8-year-old division. He was also second in the 60-meter dash and 200 meter dash.

Ayanna Fortier was first in the javelin and 800-meter at the 9-10-year-old girls division.

Azali Fortier was second in the 800-meter dash of the 11-12-year-old girls division.

Ayyaria Forter was third in the 800-meter dash of the 11-12-year-old girls division.

Ciara Perkins  was third in the shot put at the 9-10-year-old division.

At the Galleria Games:

Rashni Walker was first in the girls 15-16-year-old division for 60-meter hurdles.

Malachi Walker finished first in high jump at the 17-18-year-old division.

Josiah Walker was second in the shot put of the 13-14-year-old division.

Ciara Perkins  was third in the shot put at the 9-10-year-old division.

At the Hoover Alumni Indoor Meet:

Rashni Walker was first in the girls 15-16-year-old division for 60-meter hurdles.

Ciara Perkins  was fourth in the shot put at the 9-10-year-old division.

Josiah Walker was third in the shot put of the 13-14-year-old division.

Malachi Walker finished secondin high jump at the 17-18-year-old division.
