Alfred Davis, resident of Selma, age 86, passed December 23, 2019 at CAVHCS in Tuskegee. Services are scheduled for Friday, January 3, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church with Father Richard Myhalyk officiating and directed by Lewis Brothers Funeral Home Burial will be held at Serenity Gardens. He was preceded in death by his wife Bernice Purdie Davis and son Earl Purdie. Survivors include: two daughters, Margaret Purdie Bolling of Selma, and Maude Harrison, Detroit, brother in law, Phillip (Mary) Purdie of Chicago, one sister, Ollie Mae Davis of Selma, sister in law, Emma Jean Purdie of Selma, seven grandchildren: Earl Lamont Purdie, Montief Bolling, Zion Edwards, Sangria (Damon) Barber, Jason Harrison, Kendrick (Raynishia) Purdie and Faylicia Purdie (Will) Waters, seven great-grandchildren, one aunt, Paula Diann Cockrell of Birmingham; a host of nieces and nephews and co-workers at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery.
