The staff of Amedisys Home Health worked together to donate several articles of clothing to the Edmundite Missions Boutique and More on Thursday morning.
Every member of the Amedisys Home Health team, which specializes in in home physical, occupational and speech therapies, in addition to nursing and social work, stepped up to contribute to the donation.

“We’ve been thrilled about it,” said Amedisys Home Health Account Executive Stephanie Hughey. “We’ve had such great participation from our staff.”

Hughey said that in addition to the company’s various offerings, Amedisys Home Health is committed to helping those in need.

“We just wanted to reach out to the community because we know that there is a great need to help the homeless,” said Hughey. “One of our missions as a company is to help those in need and we felt like this was appropriate.”

Amedisys Home Health supplied the Edmundite Missions Boutique with jackets, pants, shirts and hygiene items like toothpaste.

“We are so thankful to those in the community like Amesdisys Hospice who reach out and want to provide items for those we serve, particularly at this time of the year,” said Edmundite Missions President and CEO Chad McEachern. “Our Boutique and More serves so many people every day, meeting their material needs in a dignified way. These donations will brighten this season for so many.”
