Mr. Maurice E. Wright, Sr., 57, of Sardis, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019. He was preceded in death by parents; Joe and Rachel Wright, Sr. and son Maurice DeMario Acoff. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Ruthie Wright; two children, Maurice Wright Jr. and Angela D. Wright; one daughter-in-law, Kimberly Robinson Acoff; three grandchildren, Marcel Robinson, John Nathan Robinson, Michelle Acoff; one brother, Joe Wright, Jr.; four sisters, Martha McMillian, Brenda Wright, Latisha (Eugene) Rutledge and Jacqueline Wright; two brother-in-laws; Jimmy Sullivan and Patrick Sullivan; two sister-in-laws, Earlean Sullivan and Pauline Sullivan and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A dedication of life service will be held at New Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, Sardis, on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at noon.
