CrimeStoppers is offering a $1,000 reward to the anonymous tipster in the murder of Danathian Crum last month.

The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office Investigators said they used an anonymous tip to positively identify and arrest two suspects involved in the October 25, 2019 Murder Investigation of Crum in the 700 block of Avenue A in Pine Glen Estates at Craig Air Field. Crum died after he was shot and robbed.

Andre Bennett, Jr. of Lowndes County and Selma’s Justin Manzie, both 17, were both charged with Capital murder last month.

Dallas County District Attorney Michael Jackson said Bennett and Manzie’s preliminary hearing date is set for Feb. 13 at 10 a.m.

This is the first anonymous tipster being rewarded since the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office and Central Alabama CrimeStoppers joined forces to better serve the residents of Dallas County.
