Meadowview Christian School girls won the East Memorial Thanksgiving Basketball Tournament on Tuesday.

The Lady Trojans spanked Hooper Academy 43-19 in the tournament finals. Kaylee Chancey led MCS with 18 points. Patricia Peoples added 16 points and 17 rebounds.

Chancey and Peoples made the all-tournament for MCS (5-0).

MCS beat East Memorial Christian Academy (EMCA) 52-23 in the tournament semifinals on Monday as Kaylee Chancey scored 20 points. Patricia Peoples added 12 points and grabbed 21  rebounds.  Reagan Burton scored 10 points and had seven assists.

The Trojans (0-5) lost to Success Academy 61-15 in the consolation game. Will Bennett led MCS with 10 points.

MCS lost to EMCA 80-74 in the tournament semifinals as Marcus Walters scored 14 points. Alan Holt, Will Bennett, Chemar McGuire and Christian Jones all scored 12 points.
