Mrs. Velma B. Shannon, age 81, resident of Selma,  passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Park Place Nursing Facility. Services are scheduled for Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Potter’s Place with Bishop Patrick Bonner officiating. Burial will follow in the Town Creek Cemetery, Tyler, directed by Randall Miller Funeral Service, Inc. Survivors include: four sisters, Adorries Swain, Bernice Jones, Virgel Stallworth, Mary Bonner and a host of nieces and nephews.
