Ms. Susie Bates, age 72, resident of Jones, passed away Monday, November 4, 2019 in Jones. Services are scheduled for Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 11 a.m. at House of Prayer Christian Church with Rev. Joann Sharpe officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery directed by Randall Miller Funeral Service, Inc.

Survivors include: sons; Michael (Sheia) Howard, James Howard, William Howard, David (Xavier) Talton, Roderick (Renae) Talton and Timothy (ShaWanda) Talton; daughters, Gloria (David) Jones, Jessican Talton and Jenobia (Russell) Alexander; adopted sisters, Doris Willis, Inez Johnson, Marie Henry and Doris Nelson; 42 grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
