Henry Forte Curtis, age 72, of Selma, passed away Monday, November 4, 2019 at home, with family at bedside.

Services are scheduled for Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 11a.m. at Elbethel Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Marshall officiating. Burial to follow in the Serenity Cemetery directed by Ashley’s JH Williams & Sons Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Harry Forte and Malisa Jones Curtis; brothers, Walter Calvin Curtis, Charles Donald Curtis; grandchildren, Persephonie LaTasha Curtis and Curtis Donte Turner.

Survivors include spouse; Gladys Robinson Curtis; daughter, Sonja M. Curtis; granddaughters; Versaria L. Turner and Kailey M. Pullom; stepdaughter, Shamara Brown; brothers, Richard (Nan) Curtis, Glenn (Darlene) Curtis, Sr., Brothers-in-law, Williie (Ann) Robinson and Clinton Robinson; sisters, Norma (Ernest) Tate, Ira (Kenneth) Rivers, Cheryl (Eric) Ratcliff; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth (Roosevelt) Little, Melba (Charles) Bethea and Sandra (Edward) Coles.; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of loving friends.
